The Wild Resource Conservation Program aids in the conservation of the commonwealth’s native flora and non-game fauna. The program provides grants and facilitates the flow of information between researchers, conservationists, and educators.
The Grant Process:
1) If you have not logged in or do not have an account, visit the Sign In page to get started.
2) Before you start your application, we suggest you contact one of the agency coordinators for additional input.
3) Finish and submit your application. Be sure to use the detailed budget sheet.
4) Late summer/early fall (Aug/Sept): grants will be reviewed by the agency coordinators and the Wild Resource Advisory Committee, to make recommendations to the Wild Resource Conservation Board on which projects to fund.
5) Mid-fall: the Wild Resource Conservation Board votes on the projects recommended by the Advisory Committee for funding.
6) Late fall: Grantees are notified.
